Well I tried running yesterday, I managed a 1/2mile before I couldn't take the pain anymore. So I am not running today and maybe tomorrow. I know I need to rest or it won't heal. It is really hard, especially when I just started this new training plan and am excited to run a faster half marathon. So for today I am going to work my upper body and core. I am starting week 3 on the 100 pushup challenge. This week is a tough one!
Good luck with the pushups. I hated that challenge and never made it past week 3.

The pain is in my upper thigh/glute. I think I just pulled a muscle and it needs time to heal.
